Launched by the Department of Space under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vikram Sarabhai Postdoctoral Fellowship (VISHWAS) funds young, highly motivated PhD holders who want to pursue advanced research in fundamental sciences that carries societal relevance. It is meant to nurture innovative, cutting-edge work in the research areas that the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) pursues, staying true to the vision of Prof. Vikram Sarabhai.

Benefits Provided
PRL's Vikram Sarabhai Postdoctoral Fellowship (VISHWAS) provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Number of VISHWAS Fellowships
Number of VISHWAS Fellowships: 3- Stipend Amount: Each scholar draws ₹1,00,000/- per month, plus HRA and other facilities as per PRL/DOS norms.- Duration: Up to 2 years, contingent on successful annual reviews, with a possible 1-year extension where justified and approved.

How to Apply
Online Application
