About Kisan Kaleva Yojana
Started by the Agriculture Department of the Rajasthan Government, the Kisan Kaleva Scheme lets farmers and their assistants who come to sell crops at market yards buy food at concessional rates using coupons. A registered farmer or assistant pays just ₹5/- for a plate of food. The aim is to reduce the money farmers and helpers spend while making sure they get affordable, nourishing meals whenever they visit the market. By offering this practical help, the government shows its commitment to supporting and caring for agricultural communities.
