Fawara Sanyantra
About Fawara Sanyantra
Rajasthan government’s Agriculture Department offers farmers a subsidy of 70% to 75% for setting up sprinkler plants under the Fawara Sanyantra scheme. With this sprinkler subsidy, farmers are able to bring a larger area under irrigation. The state government credits the subsidy straight into the farmers’ bank accounts via DBT. A farmer needs land up to 0.2 hectares to benefit from the Rajasthan Fawara Sanyantra Subsidy Yojana, allowing the fields to be watered with sprinkler plants. The scheme is expected to raise farmers’ incomes, while also boosting efficient use of resources and overall production. In addition, irrigating with sprinklers can save 50% to 55% of water.
Important points
- Eligible farmers will receive the grant only if the purchase bill for the fountain plant belongs to the same financial year in which they applied.
- The grant is credited directly into the farmer’s account once physical verification confirms the sprinkler plant meets the prescribed criteria.
