About Farm Pond (Khet Talai) Nirman Karyakram
Launched by the Rajasthan Agriculture Department on April 1, 2020, the Farm Pond Construction Program tackles the serious water shortage faced by Rajasthan’s farmers. Under it, farmers can build farm ponds, which are essentially rainwater harvesting structures, to irrigate their crops. Given how important the programme is, the state government subsidises pond construction so farmers can make good use of rainwater for irrigation.

To qualify for Farm Pond (Khet Talai) Nirman Karyakram, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Farm Pond (Khet Talai) Nirman Karyakram provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
How the subsidy is split:
Raw (unlined) farm pond
Raw (unlined) farm pond: half (50%) of construction cost, up to ₹52,500
Plastic lined farm pond
Plastic lined farm pond: half (50%) of construction cost including lining, up to ₹75,000
Extra subsidy:
Raw (unlined) farm pond
Raw (unlined) farm pond: as much as 60% of total cost, up to ₹63,000
Plastic lined farm pond
Plastic lined farm pond: as much as 60% of total cost, up to ₹90,000

How to Apply
Online Application
Applicants can apply for Farm Pond (Khet Talai) Nirman Karyakram through the online application process outlined below.
Application Process
Registration
Step-1: Go to the Rajasthan SSO portal.
Step-2: Select “Register”.
Step-3: You will land on the SSO registration page, which shows these options.
Citizen
Step-4: Pick either Jan Aadhaar or Google to continue.
Jan Aadhaar : Type the Jan Aadhaar number and press ‘Next’,
Choose your name, the head of family's name and all other members, and
Press ‘Send OTP’. Type in the ‘OTP’ and
Press ‘Verify OTP’ to finish registering.
Google : Type your Gmail ID and press ‘Next’,
Type the password.
When a new link shows up, click the new SSO link.
Your SSO id is displayed; set a password.
Type your Mobile number and press registration.
Step-5: Finish the registration.
Apply
Step-1: Go to the Rajasthan SSO portal.
Step-2: Once logged in, the dashboard opens.
Step-3: Select the “ RAJ-KISAN ” option.
Step-4: Under "Citizen", choose "Application Entry Request".
Step-5: Type the "Bhamashah Family ID" and search.
Step-6: Choose the person's name and the scheme name.
Step-7: Complete Aadhaar Authentication and press Get details.
Step-8: Fill in the details asked for.
