About Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana
High household spending on health care drives many families into poverty, and the Below Poverty Line (BPL) population faces a particular risk from catastrophic illness. To tackle this vulnerability among BPL families in Gujarat, the State Government has introduced a medical care scheme named Mukhyamantri Amrutum (MA) Yojana. Through an em panel network of health care providers, it aims to give BPL families better access to quality medical and surgical care for identified diseases that need hospitalization, surgeries and therapies.
