About Mukhyamantri Bhagyalaxmi Bond Scheme (GBOCWWB)
The Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board (GBOCWWB), under the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat, runs the “Mukhyamantri Bhagyalaxmi Bond Scheme”. In keeping with the aim of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”, it seeks to stop female foeticide and to help construction workers meet the costs of their daughters’ education and marriage. Registered Building and Other Construction Workers receive a bond in the name of their first girl child aged up to 1 year.
