About Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana
The Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat runs the “Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (MBKVY)” to train youth in manufacturing, service and other sectors through new age, technology-based courses, so that current industry needs are met and the state builds a skilled workforce. It offers short-term courses, digital training, future skill courses and new age courses with quality instruction in line with current technology, together with hands-on training suited to the latest technology. Applicants have to be domiciles of Gujarat state who have passed at least Standard 10/12/Industrial Training Institute/Degree-Diploma. Gujarat Skill Development Mission implements the scheme under the guidance of a Steering Committee and an Implementation and Monitoring Committee, and applications are taken online on the skills.gujarat.gov.in portal.

Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Training Cost Coverage: For National Skill Qualification Framework courses, the training cost is paid straight into the Training Provider's bank account according to the Common Skilling Norms. Assessment Fee Coverage: The concerned Assessment Agency receives the assessment fee for National Skill Qualification Framework courses as per the set standards. Industry-Demand Based Course Fees: Training centres running new courses based on industry demand are paid a training cost fixed by the Steering Committee. Special Course Fees: Where Skill Institutes/Industrial Training Institutes/Kaushalya The Skill University run special types of courses, the Steering Committee approves the training cost and method. Infrastructure Support: For Industrial Training Institutes, the training cost covers raw material, guest faculty, Training of Trainers, tools equipment, office expenses etc. Certification: Certificates are issued through the concerned Sector Skill Councils/Gujarat Council for Vocational Training/Kaushalya The Skill University. Payment Milestones (as reviewed by Mission Director, Gujarat Skill Development Mission)
