About Medical Termination of Pregnancy Scheme (PULWS)
The “Puducherry Unorganised Labourers’ Welfare Society”, Labour Department, Union Territory of Puducherry, runs the “Medical Termination of Pregnancy Scheme (PULWS)” as a welfare scheme for Unorganized Workers in Puducherry. A member, or the spouse of a member, receives ₹250/- from the Society for the Medical Termination of Pregnancy, on no more than two occasions. Payment goes into the bank account by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), and applications are taken offline.
