About Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for assistance to MSMEs: Financial Support to MSMEs in ZED Certification
Gujarat’s Industries and Mines Department has put in place the “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for MSMEs”, an umbrella scheme intended to empower the state’s MSME sector, which plays a key role in employment, GDP and exports. In force from October 5, 2022, to October 4, 2027, the initiative supports growth and investment in keeping with “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.” The “Financial Support to MSMEs in ZED Certification” component promotes Zero Defect and Zero Effect (ZED) manufacturing among MSMEs. Its emphasis is on better quality, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability and adoption of advanced manufacturing standards in support of the “Make in India” campaign.
