Forming part of the “Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana” umbrella scheme of the Department of Industries, Bihar, the “Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati / Anusuchit Janjaati Udyami Yojana” shares the umbrella scheme’s main goal of promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among people of all categories in the state. Through this component, applicants of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Class can receive financial assistance of up to ₹10,00,000/- to set up and operate business ventures, which in turn supports economic growth and empowerment across the state.

Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati / Anusuchit Janjati Udyami Yojana provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Substantial Financial Support:
Up to ₹10,00,000/- is available to start a business. Of the total assistance, 50% (up to ₹5,00,000/-) comes as a non-repayable grant, and the balance 50% (up to ₹5,00,000/-) is given as an interest-free loan, with a nominal 1% interest applying under specific sub-schemes.
Skill Development:
Attending training sessions that build entrepreneurial skills is compulsory.
