About Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for Assistance to Mega Industries: Reimbursement of Stamp Duty and Registration Fees
The “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for Assistance to Mega Industries” is an umbrella programme rolled out by Gujarat’s Industries and Mines Department to empower the state’s thriving mega-industry sector, which plays a big part in employment, GDP and exports. In effect from October 5, 2022, to October 4, 2032, it fosters investment and growth aligned with the aims of “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.” Its “Reimbursement of Stamp Duty and Registration Fees” component pays back the stamp duty and registration fees that qualifying Mega Industrial Units in Gujarat incur when buying or leasing land for their projects, easing the cost of acquiring land for business and promoting industrial development.
