National Agriculture Market

Quick Summary: e-NAM is a pan-India electronic trading platform linking APMC mandis so farmers get transparent price discovery, wider buyer access, and direct online payments. States adopting key market reforms can access central funding and infrastructure grants of up to ₹30 lakh per market to join the network.

About National Agriculture Market

Launched on 14th April 2016, the “e-National Agriculture Market (e-NAM)” is a pan-India electronic trading platform integrating APMC mandis nationwide under the “One Nation One Market” initiative. The Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC), under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, runs the platform, offering online trading for agricultural commodities, including commodity arrival information, quality assaying, e-bidding, and direct e-payment to farmers through a single window. It aims to improve transparency, efficiency, and price discovery in agricultural marketing. Since May 2020, 11 mandis in Jammu & Kashmir have joined the e-NAM platform.
