About Marriage Assistance (ANBOCWWB)
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (ANBOCWWB), under the Department of Labour, Employment & Training of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration, runs the “Marriage Assistance” scheme. Registered construction workers are given an allowance that can be used for their own wedding expenses or for those of two dependent children.

Marriage Assistance (ANBOCWWB) provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:

1. A registered construction worker is paid ₹20,000/- to meet the expenses of his/her own marriage or the marriages of two dependent children.
