About Junior Research Fellowship In Engineering & Technology
INTRODUCTION UGC’s “Junior Research Fellowship in Engineering & Technology,” under the Department of Higher Education, is meant for candidates pursuing a Ph.D. in engineering and technology. Since UGC and CSIR don’t currently run NET exams in these fields, M.Pharma, M.E., and M.Tech. students get this opportunity through direct interviews held by the Commission, with 50 slots available each year.
OBJECTIVES The scheme lets research scholars pursue advanced study and research in engineering, technology, and agricultural engineering, leading to a Ph.D. Geology and geophysics fall outside this scheme.
