About Internet Subsidy Scheme
The “Internet Subsidy Scheme”, introduced in 2018, forms part of the “Information Technology Policy Schemes” of the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. It is meant to give eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa a subsidy on their internet costs. Units can claim 25% reimbursement on high-speed bandwidth, capped at ₹ 5,00,000 per annum, whichever is lower. Every New and Existing Unit operating in Goa qualifies. The scheme was designed under Goa’s IT Policy, which sees Goa as an aspirational geographical and human resource base for IT Units and a preferred place for them to invest and expand.

If the allocation runs out and benefits stop, no Promissory Estoppel will apply. Exclusions / Who Is Not Eligible
The units availing similar financial incentives under any other policy of the Government of Goa are not eligible for availing benefits under this scheme.
