Goa State Logistics and Warehousing Incentives Scheme: Subsidy on Electricity Duty
About Goa State Logistics and Warehousing Incentives Scheme: Subsidy on Electricity Duty
Aimed at financially strengthening the logistics and warehousing industry in the State, the “Goa State Logistics and Warehousing Incentives Scheme” was introduced by the Department of Industries, Government of Goa. Its “Subsidy on Electricity Duty” component refunds 100% of the electricity duty that eligible Cold Chain Units pay on High Tension electricity connections, with an annual upper limit of ₹5,00,000/- per unit. To qualify, an applicant has to run a Cold Chain Unit and have operated continuously for at least six months after the Logistics And Warehousing Policy, 2023, was notified. The Directorate Of Industries, Trade, And Commerce (DITC) implements the component, and applications are taken through the Goa online single-window system.
