Employment Subsidy Scheme, 2017
About Employment Subsidy Scheme, 2017
Goa’s Department of Industries introduced the “Employment Subsidy Scheme, 2017” to make the State of Goa more attractive to investors, help existing units stay competitive and boost employment of local people. Subsidy is paid in proportion to the share of Goan manpower on the payroll, scaling between 60% and 100%. Eligible applicants are Micro, Small, Medium, or Large manufacturing industries, or Hinterland Eco tourism projects, that employ at least 60% Goan manpower on a regular basis. The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce implements the scheme, and applications are made by filing at least one claim with the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC).
