Housing Subsidy Scheme (GBOCWWB)
About Housing Subsidy Scheme (GBOCWWB)
The Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board (GBOCWWB), under the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat, implements the “Housing Subsidy Scheme”. Its chief purpose is to give money to construction workers registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board so that they can build homes of their own. The “Housing Subsidy” scheme began in the year 2021-22 to ease the financial load on construction workers by subsidising the houses they buy and to bring them social stability. Through these subsidies, the scheme intends to offer both financial relief and social stability to construction workers.
