How to Apply

Offline Application

Applicants can apply for Food Processing and Value Addition Management through the offline application process outlined below.

📋

Application Process

Forms can be collected from officers/staff of the Horticulture Mobile team centres or downloaded from the department's website https://shm.uk.gov.in . Each application/proposal must carry documents covering all 29 points on the checklist, among them: the application in the prescribed format, DPR, the promoter's permanent residence certificate, the organisation's biodata, the unit's address, the bank/institution appraising the proposal, evidence of that appraisal, a Fire Department NOC, land records in the organisation's name, a land conversion certificate, the company/institution's boilerage, raw material sourcing, details of products, contracts with farmers, a site plan, FSSAI certification, an employment generation certificate, civil works details certified by a civil engineer, plant machinery and equipment supplier quotations certified by a chartered mechanical engineer, supplier quotations for machinery, a marketing strategy, a process flow chart, unit implementation details, a ₹100/- affidavit, funding, project cost and eligibility.
Staff at the Horticulture Mobile team Centres will help applicants who struggle to complete the application/proposal, which must then be lodged at the office. The entrepreneur or institution must have submitted the loan appraisal to the bank before applying.
Centre staff send the proposals straight to the Mission Directorate. When the Directorate approves a proposal, the entrepreneur gets an acceptance letter and a phone call. Meanwhile the entrepreneur must secure loan approval, with help from departmental officers, and report it to the department once granted.
The unit is built under the technical guidance and oversight of departmental officers. When it is complete, a departmental team carries out a joint inspection, and if satisfied, pays the due subsidy into the entrepreneur's bank account.

Ensure all required documents are ready before starting the application process.
