How to Apply

Offline Application

Applicants can apply for Bee Keeping through the offline application process outlined below.

📋

Application Process

Farmers wanting bee boxes and bee colonies should apply at their Horticulture Mobile team Centre, giving their address, mobile number, Aadhaar card, residence certificate and bank account details. The centre sends the application on to the district office or the Jeolikote Centre. Once approved, the farmer is told by phone and also receives an acceptance letter.
The farmer then picks up the bee boxes and bee colonies, at a 40% subsidy, from the Jeolikote Centre or the district office. Beneficiaries are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the available budget.
Training requires a separate application at the farmer's Horticulture Mobile team Centre, again with address, mobile number, Aadhaar card, residence certificate and bank account details, which is passed on to the district office. When 10-30 farmers in a district show interest in beekeeping, they are formed into a group, and the department fixes a training date and informs them by phone. Farmers must attend on that date, and on finishing the training each one receives ₹1,050/- in cash or by bank transfer.

Ensure all required documents are ready before starting the application process.
