Note 02: Every registered organization applying must first register on the NGO-PS Portal (NGO-DARPAN): https://ngodarpan.gov.in/, obtaining a system-generated Unique ID, and must list 'Art and Culture' among its key working areas. Note 06: The National School of Drama (NSD), under the Ministry of Culture, announces the 'Scheme' annually via NSD's/the Ministry's website: https://nsd.gov.in/delhi/ Note 07: Renewal and Enhancement applications may be submitted separately but must be placed together in a single envelope. Note 08: Applications for enhancing the number of artists are considered only with sufficient justification and supporting documents, and only when submitted together with the renewal application. Mode of Selection: 1. The Expert Committee formed for this purpose considers and recommends financial assistance under the scheme; the Ministry approves the Committee's composition, and the Committee provides case-by-case justification for its recommendations. 2. The Expert Committee reviews applications periodically, depending on fund availability and the volume of grant applications. 3. New organizations may initially receive assistance for one Guru and two Artists, which can be gradually raised to one Guru and eighteen Artists — though the increase should never exceed 100% of the existing strength at any time, and for dance and music it should not exceed one Guru and ten Artists. 4. Given budget constraints, and to make room for new artist groups/organizations, up to 10% of organizations currently receiving assistance may be phased out each year, based on criteria such as past performance, reputation, and the nature of their art form (rare/traditional/experimental/innovative/original/endangered, etc.). 5. Renewal proposals involve a personal interaction/interview.

Ensure all required documents are ready before starting the application process.
