“Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Udyog Uday Yojana” is an umbrella programme of the Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat, designed to strengthen the state’s vibrant MSME sector, a major driver of jobs, GDP and exports. Running from August 7th, 2020 to August 6th, 2025, it backs SC/ST entrepreneurs and helps MSMEs become competitive on a global scale. Under the component “Assistance to Special Entrepreneurship Degree Approach Training with 360 Promoters/ with Mentoring Support and Sustenance Allowance for Entrepreneurs”, first-generation entrepreneurs receive 360-degree training, mentoring and a sustenance allowance so they can set up their own ventures. The Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), a leading government body working in entrepreneurship and skill development, carries out this component.
