The Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, offers “Pump set (TASP & OTASP)” as a component of the scheme “Distribution of Seeds of more productive varieties / Hybrid varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area (TASP)”. Its purpose is to put subsidised inputs in the hands of tribal farmers so that productivity and livelihoods improve. Scheduled Tribe farmers, together with tribal cultivators residing outside tribal areas, can boost harvests with plant protection equipment, tarpaulins, field demonstrations, micronutrients, agriculture fairs, water carrying pipelines, castor cake/neem cake/LFOM/green manure, pump sets, 100% water-soluble fertilizer, plant protection pesticides and the like. Following scientific recommendations in using them can raise production significantly and thereby improve living standards.

To qualify for Distribution of Seeds of more productions varieties/ Hybrids varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area: Pump Set (TASP & OTASP) Gujarat, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Beneficiaries must be Scheduled Tribe members
Beneficiaries must be Scheduled Tribe members.
Beneficiaries must be farmers
Beneficiaries must be farmers.
Beneficiaries must be located in tribal areas, OR…
Beneficiaries must be located in tribal areas, OR be tribal cultivators residing outside tribal areas.
Farmers belonging to Dang district cannot benefit
Farmers belonging to Dang district cannot benefit.
Benefits Provided
Distribution of Seeds of more productions varieties/ Hybrids varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area: Pump Set (TASP & OTASP) Gujarat provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Subsidy on oil engines:
3.0 to 3.5 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹8,700/- (lower of the two).
5.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹12,000/- (lower of the two).
7.5 to 8.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹13,500/- (lower of the two).
10.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹13,875/- (lower of the two). Subsidy on electric motors:
1.0 to 3.0 H.P.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹8,600/- (lower of the two).
5.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹9,750/- (lower of the two).
7.5 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹12,900/- (lower of the two). Subsidy on submersible pump sets:
3.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹15,750/- (lower of the two).
5.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹22,350/- (lower of the two).
7.5 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹27,975/- (lower of the two).
10.0 H.Pa.:
Subsidy of 75% of the purchase price or ₹33,525/- (lower of the two). Frequency of Disbursement: Claimable once every 5 years. Remark: Subject to conditions No. 5, 16, 17, 19 and 22 of Appendix-1. (Refer Scheme No. 35)
