About Disability Pension (MBOCWWB)
“Disability Pension” is a social security measure run by the Meghalaya Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Meghalaya. Beneficiaries who have become permanently disabled because of paralysis, leprosy, tuberculosis (T.B.), accidents and similar causes receive a disability pension from the Board. Such workers may also claim an ex-gratia payment, fixed according to their percentage of disability and any conditions the Board lays down.
