About Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana
“Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana” is run by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Govt of Jharkhand, and is funded 100% by the State. It is open only to residents/domiciles of Jharkhand, who apply online on the department’s official website. Registered Workers receive financial help for treating serious illnesses such as cancer, heart disease (including surgery), kidney disease (including surgery), incurable mental illness (including surgery) and AIDS. Each beneficiary can claim the benefit only once for a given disease.

Applicants must be suffering from one of these serious illnesses: Cancer, heart disease (including surgery), kidney disease (including surgery), incurable mental disease (including surgery), AIDS, total hip replacement, spinal surgery, major vascular disease, bone marrow transplant, liver transplant, hepatoma, advanced cirrhosis of the liver, retinal detachment, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, reflux disease, reflux disease. NOTE: Any changes made from time to time by the Department of Health, Medical, Education and Family Welfare to the list of diseases, the upper limit of medical expenses and the list of empanelled hospitals will automatically apply to this scheme.
