About Bunkar Parivar Sahayata Yojana
Started in 2013-14 by the Chhattisgarh State Handloom Development and Marketing Cooperative Union Limited, Raipur, the “Bunkar Parivar Sahayata Yojana” offers financial security to the families of weavers in primary weaver cooperative societies. When a weaver dies untimely, the scheme gives prompt financial help to the family. It covers working weaver members of primary weaver cooperative societies affiliated with the State Handloom Union, and is carried out by the Chhattisgarh State Handloom Development and Marketing Cooperative Union Limited, Raipur.
