Gujarat’s Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department runs “Assistance to Trusts/Institutions for Setting Up Cultural Centers/Auditoriums in the Municipal Area” to advance cultural growth and help preserve and promote the arts and heritage by building and upgrading cultural infrastructure in cities. Eligible trusts and institutions get funds to build new cultural centres or refurbish existing ones. Implementation is handled by the Sangeet Natak Academy, Gujarat.

Benefits Provided
Assistance to Trusts/Institutions for Setting Up Cultural Centers/Auditoriums in the Municipal Area provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Assistance for New Construction:
Trusts/institutions building a new centre can get ₹30,00,000/- or 50% of the total cost, whichever is the lower figure.
Assistance for Renovation:
Renovation work is supported with a sum of up to ₹15,00,000/-.
