About Marriage Assistance (JKBOCWWB)
Run by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Jammu & Kashmir, the “Marriage Assistance” scheme helps registered construction workers financially with the marriages of their dependents. Up to three marriages are covered, which may be of sons, daughters, siblings or the worker personally. To qualify, the worker needs to have done building or construction work for no less than 90 days in the previous 12 months.

NOTE:
The scheme can cover a maximum of three marriages, counting both the worker's dependents and the worker.
