The Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, which works under the Department of Labour and Employment, Goa, offers “Interim Relief to the Beneficiaries Affected by Disaster (GBOCWWB)” as a welfare scheme. When Board beneficiaries are hit by a disaster, catastrophe or natural calamity, they can get immediate relief of up to ₹10,00,000/-. The relief covers cash paid to beneficiaries in the affected area as well as spending on all facilities and benefits given to them.
