About Incentive for the SC Widow Re-Marriage
By giving widows money to help them return to a normal life, this scheme motivates them to marry again. Its central purpose is to promote widow remarriage and rehabilitate widows through financial support, bringing a new kind of social change among them. Karnataka’s Social Welfare Department pays incentives under the scheme to remarried widows from the SC Community. Only those who apply within 1 year of their marriage receive the incentive.
