How to Apply
Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Greenhouse Construction through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Get the application form from the officer or staff at the Horticulture Mobile team Centre, or download it from the department's website at
https://shm.uk.gov.in
. The form/proposal must be accompanied by land records such as Khasra and Khatauni, a lease certificate for leased land, the Aadhaar card, PAN card, Udhyan Card, bank account details, a mobile number, a copy of the family registry/ration card and the training certificate. At present, applications are accepted offline only.
Staff at the Horticulture Mobile team Centre help anyone who has trouble filling in the proposal, and the completed form is handed in at that same office. The Centre sends the proposals to the district level, which forwards them to the Directorate; once the Directorate approves the farmers' proposals, the districts receive approval/work orders by an issued order in line with government guidelines.
When a proposal is approved, the district officer sends the farmer an acceptance letter and phones to inform them, attaching a list of polyhouse manufacturers registered with the department. The farmer builds the greenhouse at his own cost, taking a bank loan if funds are short. On completion, the farmer informs the department, whose officer inspects the site and files a report, after which the applicable government assistance/subsidy is paid straight into the farmer's account.
