About Financial Assistance as Shagun in Marriage of Man Workers or Son of Workers – Haryana Labour Welfare Board
Started on 15.01.2019 by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board (HLWB), Labour Department, Government of Haryana, the scheme “Financial Assistance as Shagun in Marriage of Man Workers or Son of Workers” gives ₹21,000/- as Shagun when a worker’s son marries or when an unmarried male worker himself marries. A wedding, whether the worker’s own or his son’s, places heavy financial strain on a worker, and the Board’s Shagun payment is meant to ease that burden, with the benefit extended to workers on an equal footing.
