About Disability Assistance (ANBOCWWB)
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (ANBOCWWB), functioning under the Department of Labour, Employment & Training, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, started the “Disability Assistance” scheme. Through it, the Board’s Secretary can sanction up to 25% of the full compensation payable as worked out under the Employees Compensation Act 1923. This requires a certificate of the disability percentage from competent medical authorities, submitted with the assistance application, the last pay slip & proof of age. Ex-facto approval of the Board must then be secured for the sanction.

Disability Assistance (ANBOCWWB) provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
