About Assistance of Concentrate Feed for Pregnant Animals (Scheduled Tribe Category)
Under the scheme titled “Assistance of Concentrate Feed for Pregnant Animals (Scheduled Caste Category)”, Gujarat’s Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department assists Scheduled Tribe livestock owners through the final trimester of cattle pregnancy, when both the animal and the calf are especially vulnerable. Eligible beneficiaries are given 150 kg of BIS Type II concentrate feed free of charge to improve milk yield, stretch the milking period and head off health complications.
