Art Exhibition Assistance in the State
About Art Exhibition Assistance in the State
Through the “Art Exhibition Assistance in the State” scheme, the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, extends financial help to visual artists of Gujarat who wish to put their work on public display by holding exhibitions anywhere in the state. The support is primarily meant for artists who either have formal training in art or already have a track record of staging art exhibitions. By backing such shows, the initiative widens the audience for regional art and brings greater recognition to local artists. Implementation of the scheme rests with the Gujarat State Lalitkala Academy.
