About Antya Sanskar Sahay Yojana
Through the “Antya Sanskar Sahay Yojana”, the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa, gives grants to Scheduled Tribe (ST) families to carry out funeral and religious rites. The assistance is capped at ₹ 20,000/- or the actual expense, whichever amount is lower, and either the deceased or the applicant must belong to a Scheduled Tribe Family.

Special Case Where the deceased was from a Scheduled Tribe but the applicant is not, the applicant must prove a first-degree relationship with the deceased. Claims may be lodged within 12 months of the death in the family of kin.
