Women Helpline
About Women Helpline
The Women Helpline offers round-the-clock emergency and non-emergency support to women through the toll-free short-code 181, connecting callers to relevant authorities such as the Police, One Stop Centres, Hospitals, and Legal Services Authorities. It also shares information on women’s welfare schemes and services. The helpline is linked with the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Emergency Response Support System 112 (ERSS-112) and the Child Helpline (1098), and is further being integrated with the One Stop Centre Scheme (OSC) and the Hub for Empowerment of Women (HEW) to connect women facing violence with the redressal services they need.
