Student Internship Programme
About Student Internship Programme
The Student Internship Programme offers a distinctive learning opportunity, exposing interns to how the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) functions. CAG invites applications from Student Interns (SIs) to work on a contractual basis for 3 to 6 months at its Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institutes. Candidates pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or research studies in any discipline at recognized, reputed institutions, with a strong academic record, may apply; skills in Information Technology (IT) and Information Communication Technology (ICT), along with good communication and interpersonal abilities, are preferred. Every Student Intern must sign a Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement, remaining bound by the country’s secrecy laws, before starting the internship, and must present a Report/Paper on their assigned subject to the Head of the Functional Wing/Field Office at the end of the term. That Head reviews project progress regularly, and interns receive an Experience Certificate/Recommendatory Letter on completion. > Number of Interns
The number of Student Interns CAG engages depends on actual requirement at any given time. > Duration
Each Student Intern’s internship lasts 3 to 6 months. > Place of Posting
Interns are posted at CAG’s office in New Delhi or at any of its field offices across India. > Travel, Service Incurred Death, Injury or Illness, Allowances
