About Samriddhi – Scheme for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Students for Setting Start-Ups

The All India Council for Technical Education runs “Samriddhi – Scheme for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Students for Setting Start-Ups” to help Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students design, launch, and run their own business or startup, either after finishing their formal education or during their final year. Under the scheme, an institute receives a one-time financial assistance of ₹20,00,000/- (which includes a ₹1,00,000/- per year recurring grant component); the institute then picks nine registered startups founded by Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students and hands each ₹2,00,000/- in seed money.
