About Mukhyamantri Asangathit Mazdoor Yojana
Introduced by the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, the “Mukhyamantri Asangathit Majdoor Yojana” offers a range of benefits to people working in the state’s unorganized sector. These include higher payment for Tendu leaf pluckers, seasonal bonuses, a freeze on old electricity bills, electricity at a subsidized flat rate, and e-rickshaws for cycle rickshaw drivers. To qualify, a person must be a worker who is not in government service of any kind, does not pay tax and owns no agricultural land. Applications are taken offline at Gram Panchayat Secretary offices in rural areas and at Nagar Panchayat/Municipality offices in urban areas.
