The application form is available from the Directorate or the District Minority Welfare Office, and can also be downloaded from the website https://minoritywelfare.uk.gov.in/
Applications have to reach the office within thirty days of passing the examinations of the State Public Service Commission or the Union Public Service Commission, or within thirty days of getting admission to a national-level institute after its entrance examination. The process is currently carried out offline.
Along with the form, attach a recent passport-size photograph attested by a gazetted officer, educational qualification certificates, a self-declaration minority community certificate, a permanent residence certificate, a valid income certificate, the admit card of the examination, proof of success, details of an Aadhaar-linked bank account, a copy of the Aadhaar card and an affidavit. When the verification is found correct, the district sends eligible applications to the Directorate for budget allocation, and the Directorate compiles all proposals and submits them to the government.
When the budget arrives, the Directorate releases funds to the districts according to demand, and the district offices credit the sanctioned amount directly to the candidate’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.
A candidate who qualifies in two or more examinations in one financial year will get benefits under only one scheme, according to the option he or she chooses.
