About Freeship Staff Ward
Under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, runs the “Freeship Staff Ward” scheme. Children and wards of university employees studying at the undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD level are helped with their education through a concession on tuition fees.

Applicants can apply for Freeship Staff Ward through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
The university first calls for applications from students in the set format. The Dean of Student Welfare reviews them and, following the laid-down procedure, compiles a list of students for approval by the Registrar and the Vice-Chancellor. Once approved, the Dean of Student Welfare announces the chosen students through an office order, and their tuition fee waivers are then granted.
