About Maternity Benefit Scheme (APB&OCWWB)
Women workers whose names are on the register of the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) are covered by the “Maternity Benefit Scheme”, introduced by the Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The state government proposed the scheme and carries it out through the APB&OCWWB for women who have enrolled with the Labour Welfare Board. Objective: • To ease hardship faced during delivery and to help support the healthy upbringing of the newborn.
