About Maternity Benefit (ANBOCWWB)
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (ANBOCWWB), part of the Department of Labour, Employment & Training, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, began the “Maternity Benefit” scheme. Women employees who have been registered beneficiaries for one year receive financial help during maternity. Male employees with one year as registered beneficiaries also qualify for a maternity benefit if their wives are aged 19 years or more and are not registered beneficiaries themselves.
