About Marriage Assistance (K.B.O.C.W.W.B)
Offered to registered workers of the BOCW Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Karnataka, the “Maternity Benefit/Delivery Assistance” welfare scheme gives financial support to registered construction workers who have held one (1) year of membership with the Board before the wedding. The money covers expenses for the worker’s own marriage or for the marriages of two (2) dependent children.

Marriage Assistance (K.B.O.C.W.W.B) provides the following benefits to eligible applicants:
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance: A sum of ₹60,000/- is paid for the marriage of the worker or of two (2) dependent children. Note: A registered construction worker's family may claim this help only twice, and a single marriage attracts only one claim, however many registered construction workers the family has.

Note:
Renewal: Registration with the Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has to be renewed every 3 years. A 1-year grace period is allowed if it lapses, after which the registration is no longer valid.
