How to Apply
Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Mahila Nursery Yojana through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Registration of Women Self-Help Groups, Mahila Mangal Dals, and local women's groups is done at the Divisional Forest Rights Office. Women farmers receive a copy of the nursery manual along with technical advice on developing the nursery.
To register, the group must produce the Khatauni of the proposed nursery site, the women's group meeting proposal, a mobile number, an Aadhaar card, and a bank passbook.
When the nursery saplings are ready, the Forest Department buys them from the group species-wise, according to the agreement signed between the Self-Help Group and the Forest Department.
The grant is paid in installments into the Self-Help Group's account once the group has bought the materials needed to set up the nursery.
