About Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana
Details This scheme gives financial help towards the marriage of daughters of beneficiary registered labourers, and to registered women construction labourers, who work in building and other construction processes. It also promotes lawful practices such as adult marriage as a way of curbing illegal practices. Eligibility extends to all registered construction workers who are the latest duly registered members of the board, provided the daughter of such a worker, or the registered female worker herself, is not below the age fixed by the government from time to time. Updated registered construction workers can apply only once they have completed a board membership period of at least 01 years (365 days) after registration. The application, along with all necessary records, must be filed through the Public Service Center / Board website within one year of the marriage taking place. For mass marriages, it can be filed 15 days before the date fixed for the marriage. Attaching the required documents to the application form is mandatory.
