About Financial Assistance to Former Sports Person of UP
As part of a welfare programme for the state’s sportspersons, the Department of Sports, Government of Uttar Pradesh, launched the “Financial Assistance to Former Sports Person of UP” scheme for players who are now elderly, frail or in difficulty. It supports veteran sportspersons who, in their younger days, earned honour for the state through their performances.
