About Jan Samuh Bima Yojana
Launched in 2019 by the Department of Tribal Area Development, Government of Rajasthan, “Jan Samuh Bima Yojana” supports Sahariya families financially when the head of the family (the primary earning member) dies. In such cases, the insurance company pays the family of the deceased a one-time financial assistance to ease their economic hardship. Family heads are insured under the Swachh Project, which also bears the insurance premium.
