About Integrated Social Security Scheme: Pension to Physically Challenged Persons
“Pension to Physically Challenged Persons” is a sub-component of the “Integrated Social Security Scheme (IGSSS)”, carried out by the Social and Tribal Welfare Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh. Poor physically handicapped persons, including those who are blind, deaf, or dumb, with a disability of 40% or above and no source of income are given a monthly pension of ₹1,000/- under it.

Post-Application Process
:
Eligible applicants are listed by the concerned TSWO and the list is passed to the concerned District Social Welfare Officer for the arrangement of funds, while a designated District level Sanctioning Committee headed by the Director Social Welfare Department, UT Ladakh accords sanction.
